The PITCH Seminar Series
PITCH (Progress In the Theme of Childhood Diseases) is the weekly local seminar series for clinical and basic researchers from across the Childhood Diseases Theme.
Seminars are held on Thursdays from 9 - 10 a.m. from mid-September through mid-June. Most sessions consist of two Childhood Diseases research groups each presenting a 25 minute talk, with time for questions. Guest speakers from outside the Theme will often get the whole hour. For more details, visit the Policy, Guidelines & Information page and the Upcoming Schedule. Please note: Approximately 1-2 weeks before the talk, the presenter and talk title details are advertised via the PITCH email list (email email@example.com to be added), on the research intranet CD Theme event calendar, the Faculty of Medicine events newsletters, and on the lobby screens throughout BCCHR.
International Travel Awards
The Childhood Diseases Research Theme supports trainee travel awards for international conferences each season. These are based on attendance, and to be eligible, individuals must belong to the CD Research Theme.
