The RAFT (Research in Advanced Fetal diagnosis and Therapy) Group is a research-focused group that started in 2009. It facilitates research as it pertains to fetal imaging, diagnosis and therapy.
The group is comprised of researchers from various disciplines including perinatology, radiology, medical genetics, pathology, sonography, neonatology and epidemiology.
RAFT is committed to collaborative provincial, national and international research.
The group aims to advance through research:
- The understanding of perinatal health and disease;
- The care of the fetus and mother in complicated pregnancies;
- Innovations in fetal imaging, intervention and therapy.
