Scholars of Excellence Program
The following applies to the Scholars of Excellence Program. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure the application package is complete and received by the BC Children's Hospital Research Institute by the competition closing date on Monday, January 15, 2018.

|Already affiliated with the BC Children's Hospital Research Institute? Current trainees may apply for the Scholars of Excellence Program but this initiative has been designed to attract new talent. Preference will be given to applicants bringing research expertise from outside BC. |
Identifying a Mentor: An applicant may identify a proposed mentor on the application form. Mentors must be based on the Oak Street Campus and at least one mentor must be a BCCHR Investigator with a productive, health oriented research career able to provide mentorship throughout the duration of the award. Academic CV: Any academic format is acceptable, including a Canada Common CV (CIHR or Banting format). For a CIHR CV a draft CV is acceptable.
Attachments & Updates: Use only the space provided in the award applications and do not provide any additional attachments as reviewers will be instructed to disregard it. This includes any images or graphs. All information required for the evaluation of the application should be contained in the application. Updates to the information provided in the award application will not be accepted after the award closing date.
