My areas of research are in diabetes and endocrine disorders in children. One particular area of focus is in late endocrine effects of childhood cancer survivors. Some children who have undergone oncological treatment are at an increased risk of a vast array of endocrine disorders, ranging from hormone disruption to impacted bone health. My interest is to further understand the risks, monitoring and management of these endo-oncological issues. A second area of focus is in diabetes technology in the management of childhood diabetes care. I am interested in understanding the current use of technology, and to generate innovative and systematic ways to successfully incorporate technology into our existing care model.
