We are the research and development division of the Provincial ADHD Program of BC Children’s Hospital. We aim to improve the lives of children and youth who have significant difficulties with inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity. We are dedicated to understanding the unique strengths, beliefs, attitudes, actions and challenges of this population in order to develop and evaluate innovative and evidence-based practices for patients, professionals, and the public community.
Our research is made possible through funding from BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. If you would like to consider investing into the ADHD program to support the development of innovative projects and services, you can do so through the BC Children's Hospital Foundation, directing it to: ADHD Clinical Research Program, KRZ75151
Do you have a child with ADHD? We're currently recruiting for two studies:
We want to understand why some children have an easier time in their social relationships than other children.
Parents and teachers can participate from home by completing some questionnaires online (~45 mins). If your child with ADHD is between ages 6-11 years, please contact us for more info.
Want to find out if your child’s psychostimulant dose might be too high? Join this study from UBC!
The recommended dose for controlling behaviour might be impairing attention. They will check cognitive skills on current dose & on half that. Enrolling youths with ADHD age 6-18 on a psychostimulant. For info, call 604-827-3074 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
