Mini Med School: BC
This one-day event, held in partnership with the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), gives high school students and the community in and around Northern BC the opportunity to engage with world-class researchers and clinicians.
The next Mini Med School: BC will be held Spring 2018 in the City of Fort St. John. Details on the location, topic and registration will be available online in early January.

In May 2017, BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute, in partnership with the First Nations Health Authority, presented the first ever Mini Med School in Terrace, BC. |
Lead by Dean Dr. Nadine Caron, the diverse curriculum highlighted leading-edge medical research and explored a variety of careers in health sciences. Speakers included: Dr. Bruce Verchere, Dr. Tim Oberlander, Dr. Jehannine Austin and Allison Ezzat.
