    Summary

I am interested in methods of building capacity to provide timely services to children who are injured or acutely ill in resource poor areas of the world.

I am interested in issues relating to severe infection and sepsis as well as the planning of mass critical care in disasters and pandemics.

    Current Projects
    • The evaluation of post discharge mortality from sepsis in Uganda.
    • Surviving Sepsis campaign review on guideline development project.
    • Evaluation of the contribution of sepsis to the Global Burden of Disease.
    • Healthy Starts Grant Post-discharge readmission and mortality among children being repatriated from northern communities: Derivation of prediction models.
