Overview

Children and youth frequently present to the emergency department with injuries. Despite being a common reason to seek medical attention, optimal management strategies to minimize discomfort and pain are not fully understood yet. My research aims to better understand bone injuries in children, and improve the quality of pain management and sedation that is received in the emergency department while being treated for the injury.
