The research community at BC Children's Hospital is pleased to present Mini Med School 2017. Each year, this popular series uses big ideas, big discoveries and big names to engage high school students in learning and discussion about health research topics.

Presented by Dean Dr. Kishore Mulpuri, this 6-week seminar series will provide insight into the world of surgery. Learn how surgeons are helping lead the integration of clinical care, education, and research to improve outcomes for the patients across a range of surgical specialties

High school students interested in participating must be nominated by a teacher to attend. Students cannot register themselves. 

Interested in attending but not a high school student? 

A limited number of seats are reserved for the public each year. These seats are intended for retired health care professionals and teachers/educators. To reserve a space contact, registration will open on Monday, September 25 at 3:00 pm. 

Are you affiliated with the research community at BC Children's Hospital? A limited number of seats are also reserved for students mentored by researchers or individuals affiliated with staff onsite. Contact for registration details. 

Please note, the Mini Med School course curriculum is designed for students in
grades 10-12. All sessions will be recorded and available for online viewing.
