Mini Med School: Vancouver
The next Mini Med School series will provide insight into the world of surgery. Presented by Dr. Kishore Mulpuri, 2017 Mini Med School Dean.
The 6-week seminar series will be held at the Chan Centre for Family Health Education on the BC Children's Hospital Campus (938 West 28th Avenue, Vancouver). Admission is free but space is limited.
- Wednesday, October 18, 7:00-9:00 pm: Neurosurgery & Eye Surgery
- Wednesday, October 25, 7:00-9:00 pm: Cardiac & General Surgery
- Wednesday, November 1, 7:00-9:00 pm: Orthopedic & Plastic Surgery
- Wednesday, November 8, 7:00-9:00 pm: Global Surgery
- Wednesday, November 15, 7:00-9:00 pm: Anesthesia
- Wednesday, November 22, 7:00-9:00 pm: Surgical Training
High school students interested in participating must be nominated by a teacher to attend. Students cannot register themselves.

A limited number of seats are reserved for the public each year. These seats are intended for retired health care professionals and teachers/educators. To reserve a space contact firstname.lastname@example.org, registration will open on Monday, September 25 at 3:00 pm.

Please note, the Mini Med School course curriculum is designed for students in
grades 10-12. All sessions will be recorded and available for online viewing.
