The PITCH Seminar Series

PITCH (Progress In the Theme of Childhood Diseases) is the local seminar series for clinical and basic researchers from across the Childhood Diseases Theme.

Seminars are held on Thursdays from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. from mid-September through mid-June. Most sessions consist of two Childhood Diseases research groups each presenting a 25 minute talk, with time for questions. Guest speakers from outside the Theme will often get the whole hour.

Please note: Approximately 1-2 weeks before the talk, the presenter and talk title details are advertised via the PITCH email list (email anoreen@cfri.ca to be added), on the research intranet CD Theme event calendar, the Faculty of Medicine events newsletters, and on the screens throughout BCCHR.

International Travel Awards

Multiple travel awards to be used to attend a conference will be drawn (based on attendance); to be eligible, individuals must belong to the CD Theme.
