Lipids

Sample type can be virtually anything: plasma, serum, milk, tissues.

We have the ability to detect 48 different fatty acids (~35 normally present in samples), including metabolically active arachidonic (AA), eicosapentanoic (EPA) and docosahexanoic (DHA) acids. Sample analysis can be total fatty acids, or we can separate, quantitate and collect each lipid class (triglycerides, phospholipids, etc.) and then analyze the individual fatty acids from each lipid class.

Fatty acid results are normally expressed in percentage of weight of each fatty acid. A sample report is shown below:
