The BCCHR Imaging Core provides a full range of biological imaging solutions for life sciences research. The facility has been in operation for over 12 years providing training, consultation, and guidance to researchers ranging from sample preparation to data analysis. Located on the 4th floor in the Translational Research Building (TRB) at A4-110, BCCHR’s imaging core is designed to provide workspaces for precise, sensitive, and high-content microscopy imaging and analysis techniques.

The imaging lab has bundled four powerful microscopes and two image data analysis computers to provide BCCHR investigators with easy access to expertise and technologies. Comprehensive consultations, sample preparation advice, ongoing support, image processing, image analysis and preparation of data for publication all contribute to using researchers' time effectively, generating high-quality quantitative data and elevating research projects to the next level.

The facility contains a wide array of the latest technologies in biological imaging, which are available to both academia and industry on a user-cost basis.
