We're exploring how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected how frequently and how urgently patients are using the pediatric emergency departments (PED) across Canada.
We are evaluating parental preferences and patient characteristics associated with diversion of patients from the pediatric emergency department to outpatient care, as a first step toward reducing ED overcrowding.
This study will describe emergency department clinician practice patterns in the diagnosis and management of urinary tract infections, and how closely we are complying with established national guidelines.
