Congratulations to the investigators and their teams who were awarded funding through the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Fall 2024 Project Grant competition. BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute (BCCHR) community members received $11,571,083 in new research grants.

For fully funded project grants, BCCHR investigators had a funding success rate of 23.5 per cent, compared to the national average of 17.2 per cent. BCCHR’s overall funding success rate was 33.3 per cent, including priority announcements.
