The BCCHR Trainee Omics Group was formed by a motivated group of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and staff at BC Children's Hospital Research Institute. We aim to bring together wet- and dry-lab scientists from across the institute and provide a centralized resource for learning data analysis skills, whether for complete beginners, novices, or intermediate-level coders.

The Trainee Omics Group provides workshops on/assistance with data from various technologies such as RNA-seq, genomics, bisulfite sequencing, ChIP-seq, flow cytometry, and microarrays. Check out our “Events” page to learn more about upcoming workshops, study group sessions, and seminars, or contact us at traineeomicsgroup@gmail.com if you would like to be a part of our team!
