To give you the opportunity to virtually mingle with students outside your research team, various networking events will be arranged throughout the summer.
Each week, students will receive an email bulletin about upcoming events and their available formats. Attendance will be recorded during each session.
Networking Events
- Sign-Up, Pair-Up, Meet-Up | Week of June 17 – 21

Engage and connect with the research community! Participants will be paired with other summer students to chat virtually or in-person. This is your chance to network and practice your communications skills in a safe and friendly environment.
Scheduling: Participants can pick a date and time that works best for their group.
Giftcards: In-person participants can each grab a $6 Starbucks giftcard for their meet-up. After being paired up, students can arrange to pick-up their giftcards from the Research Education team. Virtual participants will be sent a $5 Starbucks e-giftcard. Additional details will be emailed to each group. - Ice Cream Social | Friday, July 5 | 2:00 – 3:00 pm
