COVID-19 Infections in Transplant Recipients: A Multi-center Registry (BCCH Site Protocol)
Project Summary
Organ transplant recipients are at higher risk of viral infections. Little is known about how organ transplant recipients are affected by COVID-19 and whether their disease course is different than in the general population. Through this Canada wide-registry we will collect information on adult and children organ transplant recipients who were infected with COVID-19 and how they were affected by the disease.
This will be a prospective, multi-center study conducted at multiple sites across Canada with central co-ordination by the University Health Network, Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Hana Mitchell is the principal investigator at the BC Children's Hospital Site.
